***Steel is processed in furnaces and it reaches up to 52 – 58 Rockwell (HRC) hardness. It is sharpened. Gradual heating technique is applied in over 1000 degrees for high quality sword & knife materials. Then it is held at constant temperature. In furnaces with high technology, the required hardness is got in 500-600 degrees for about 5-6 hours.

Where did Zulfiqar Sword come from?

There are two strong rumors about Imam Ali’s sword Zulfiqar. One of them is that Zulfikar Sword  was sent to Imam Ali by Allah through the angel Gabriel. Hazrat Prophet invites Ali to his house and sheaths this sword. It heralds that it is a gift from God.The second rumor about the sword is that when Amrü bin Adüd, one of the enemy soldiers in the battle of Uhud, asked for an opponent who would oppose him in the war. The Prophet told Ali to oppose him by giving Zulfikar.

Zulfikar sword is one of the most ancient Islamic swords, given by God through Angel Gabriel to Imam Ali. Imam Ali was unanimously considered the bravest and the best swordsman in the entire history of Islam. Battle of Badr, Uhud, Kyber or Khandaq – Islamic history has witnessed all the events where the Lion of Allah Hazrat Ali displayed his excellence with his Sword. Ali’s fame grew with every battle that he was in due to his courage, valour, and chivalry and the fact that he single-handedly destroyed many of Arabia’s most famous and feared warriors. Records of these battles carry with them chronicles of his bravery, courage and chivalry. Even the enemies sang songs of his courage and gallantry.

The Zulfikar sword is one piece, full tang.  The handle part was specially designed by taking parts from a few type of wood and mounted on the sword. Another feature we have added to our sword is that we have applied the aging process. This process, which we have done carefully and meticulously, is also very much appreciated by you.

Where is the Zulfiqar Sword ?

The exact location of Imam Ali’s Zulfikar sword is unknown. There are also rumors on this subject. The strongest rumor is that he took the sword with his camel before his death.According to another rumor, Hazrat Ali told his sons Imam Hasan and Huseyin to throw Zulfiqar into the sea . Today, it coincides with the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Another rumor about Imam Ali’s sword Zulfikar sword is related to its dimensions. In many reliable historical sources, Imam Ali’s sword Zulfiqar weighs 4 kilograms 820 grams, the length of the sword is 185 cm and its width is 24 cm. The Zulfiqar swords you see on our site are produced in 90 cm.
